General
The festival is held at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre of Montreal (JCCCM) located at 8155 rue Rousselot, Montreal, QC. It takes place on Saturday, July 11, 2026 (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM) and Sunday, July 12, 2026 (11:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
General admission is $4. You can also purchase online pre-sale tickets for $3 until July 9. Admission is completely free for JCCCM members, children aged 11 and under, and anyone wearing a full traditional yukata!
Accessibility
Yes! The JCCCM courtyard and main indoor facilities are fully wheelchair and stroller accessible. There is a step-free entrance ramp from Rousselot street and fully accessible restrooms inside the building.
You can take the Orange Metro line to Jarry station, then transfer to Bus 193 East and get off at Rousselot street. Alternatively, you can take the Blue Metro line to D'Iberville station and walk 10 minutes north along Rousselot street.
Policies
Only certified service animals are allowed within the JCCCM gates during the festival. For safety reasons due to high crowds, family pets are not permitted inside.
Cosplay is absolutely welcome at Festival Matsuri! We ask that your costumes be family-friendly and that any prop weapons comply with local safety regulations (no sharp edges, metal, or realistic firearms).
